Who You Talk To

Courtslanding Tree Service is a referral service, so the person who works on your tree is an independent provider. They run their own business. They choose their own crew, tools and schedule. You will speak with the provider, or with someone who answers for that provider's business.

This site does not list staff, and we do not send crews. We simply connect you.

What Happens After You Reach Out

You share a few details about the tree, such as its size, its location and what worries you. A provider in our network then gets in touch. Many providers can respond quickly, though availability varies.

Want to know who has openings in Seven Mile right now? Request a callback to check provider availability.

Expect questions about access, power lines, fences and structures. A good provider will want to see the tree or study photos before giving a price.

Questions to Ask a Provider

Ask before you hire. Here is what to ask and what a solid answer sounds like.

  • Are you insured? A good answer: yes, and they will share proof when you ask. A red flag: vague answers or "don't worry about it."
  • Can I have a written quote? A good answer: yes, listing the work, cleanup and stump plan. A red flag: a price only by text or a handshake.
  • How will the tree come down? A good answer: a clear plan covering ropes, sections and what could be hit. A red flag: "we just drop it."
  • Is cleanup included? A good answer: a direct yes or no, written down.
  • Should this tree really come out? A good answer: an honest opinion, even if pruning is enough.

Not sure what to ask for your own tree? Request an estimate and bring these questions to the provider.

Warning Signs

  • Do not pay the full amount up front.
  • Do not accept a door-knock offer right after a storm without checking the business.
  • Do not feel pressured by a "today only" price.
  • Do not let anyone work near power lines unless they say how they will do it safely.

You Are in Control

You can talk to more than one provider. You can say no. You can ask for the plan in writing. Nothing is decided until you agree to a written quote with the provider.

After the work, ask what care the area needs, such as watching nearby trees or leveling a stump spot.
